2019 Kinder Enrolment Week

Kindergarten Enrolments

Thank you for enquiring about kindergarten services with the Glenelg Shire Council’s Children’s Services.

How to enrol for 2019 programs

Enrolments for 2019 Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten Programs will be taken during Enrolment Week, which will occur from the 23 - 27 July 2018.

To enrol, you will be required to complete a series of forms and supply copies of relevant documents.

The following forms will be required to be completed:

• Kindergarten Year Before School Enrolment Form or Kindergarten Enrolment Form
• Fee Payment Agreement
• Volunteer Forms
• Medical Management Plans (if needed) – to be completed by a medical practitioner
 Asthma Action Plan
 Anaphylaxis Action Plan
 Allergy Plan

You will also be required to provide copies of the following documents:

• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Any current concession cards (if applicable)
• Immunisation History Statement
• Court Order (if applicable)
• Intervention Order (if applicable)

• Program and Session Times
• Minimum Period of Exclusions for Infectious Diseases and Contacts
• Early Years Education Program Information
• Transition from Kindergarten to School
• Nutrition and Active Play Fact Sheet
• Early Years Management

Please return completed forms and copies of relevant records to one of the following centres during Enrolment Week.

 Heywood Customer Service Centre, 77 Edgar Street, Heywood
 Kathleen Millikan Centre, 1-7 Jackson Street, Casterton

Forms are available for download below.

Hardcopy enrolment packs can be collected during Enrolment Week from 23 - 27 July 2018. Packs will be available from Casterton's Kathleen Millikan Centre, Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara Portland Child and Family Complex or the Heywood Customer Service Centre.

Allocation of Kindergarten Places

Glenelg Shire Council Children’s Services allocates Kindergarten places following the Guidelines for Managing Access to Kindergarten Places.
