| 2014 Australia Day Awards | | In the Glenelg Shire we have a wonderful system for recognising the achievements of our citizens. The Australia Day Awards are unique in that it gives every person the opportunity to nominate a fellow citizen who has made an outstanding contribution to their community.
Nominations are not made by some higher authority, they are made by people like you. Look around and see who are the quiet achievers or volunteers in your community and ask should their efforts be recognised.
Nominations for the 2014 Australia Day Awards open on 1 September 2013. Please contact Kylie Walford for further information.
