The Glenelg Shire Council's Municipal Emergency Management Plan has been produced pursuant to Section 20(2)of the Emergency Management Act 1986. This plan addresses the response to and recovery from emergencies within the Glenelg Shire and is the result of the co-operative efforts of the Emergency Management Planning Committe.


The Glenelg Shire's Emergency Management Group consists of:

	Chairperson
	Municipal Emergency Resource Officer
	Deputy Municipal Emergency Resource Officer
	Municipal Recovery Manager
	Municipal Emergency Response Co-Ordinator
	Fire Service Representative
	VICSES Representative
	Police Representative
	Medical / Ambulance Representative
	Persons Responsible for Functional Areas
	Health & Medical Officer - Glenelg Shire Council
	Communications - Station Commonder (Victoria Police)
