Make a Complaint

Glenelg Shire Council is committed to providing our customers with quality services. If you have a complaint about the quality of an action taken, decision made, or service provided by Council, its contractors or volunteers, we encourage you to complete the Customer Complaints Web Form or download the Customer Complaints Form.

Once the completed form has been received by Council, it will be handled in accordance with the Council’s Customer Complaint Handling Policy.

If you have a request for service, report of damage or general enquiry, please see Request for Service and Feedback Form.

When completing the below form, please be sure to include as much information as possible such as time of incident, contact names or any reference numbers. Any information to help officers identify the problem is beneficial.

Request an Internal Review

If you have recently made a complaint and you are unsatisfied with the outcome, you are entitled to an internal review. If you wish to do so, please complete the Internal Review Form.

Your Privacy

Personal and or health information collected by Council is used for municipal purposes as specified in the Local Government Act 1989. The personal information will be used solely by Council for these purposes and or directly related purposes. Council may disclose this information to other organisations if required by legislation. The applicant understands that the personal and or health information provided is for the above purpose and that he or she may apply to Council for access to and/or amendment of the information. Requests for access and or correction should be made to Council's Privacy Officer.
