Fish cleaning facilities have been recently upgraded. This year has been another excellent season for Blue Fin Tuna fishing. Several caravan parks and holiday houses accommodate fishermen and their boats. Local bait and tackle stores provide up to date information on where they’re biting and tackle advice. The Portland Coast Guard is present with their modern rescue vessel. There are excellent charter boats available with experienced skippers/fishermen. This is the ideal solution for anglers who want the experience of chasing the big fish without the expense of having to purchase a boat and tackle.
