The committee is to provide information and advice to Council on policy, issues identified by Port users and operational issues that may affect the Local Port.       2013 Glenelg Shire Inclusive Business Awards Nominations are open from Wednesday, 1 May 2013 until Wednesday, 29 May 2013 for the “Glenelg Shire Inclusive Business Awards”. The awards are committed to encouraging businesses to be accessible and provide a friendly and welcoming environment to people of all abilities.     Heritage Advisory Committee Expressions of Interest are invited from the Glenelg Shire community for membership of the Heritage Advisory Committee.       Integrated Growth Plan (IGP) for Portland Advisory Committee Expressions of Interest are invited from the Glenelg Shire community and business sector for membership of the IGP for Portland Advisory Committee (aoC).     Expressions of Interest-Casterton Railway Precinct Advisory Committee Expressions of Interest are invited from community members to join the Casterton Railway Precinct Advisory Committee.       Fire Service Property Levy (FSPL) From 1 July 2013 the State Government will introduce the Fire Services Property Levy. All Victorian Councils are required to collect the levy on behalf of the State Government.     Expression of Interest - Volunteer Flag Attendants Expressions of interest are invited from the Glenelg Shire community to volunteer as flag attendants at the Council’s Customer Service Centres in Casterton, Heywood and Portland.
