Visiting Cape Bridgewater  Printer Friendly

Head 20km west of Portland and you will find the picturesque seaside town of Cape Bridgewater. The natural beauty of this town is breathtaking, as are the white sandy beaches that line the town’s foreshore. Rugged windswept cliff-tops frame the town, giving way to freshwater lakes, limestone formations, caves, blowholes and mountainous sand dunes.

Move further west from Bridgewater and find the wild and untamed Discovery Bay Coastal Park, offering an extraordinary vista of sand dunes all the way to Nelson. Stroll the coastline, try your hand at surf fishing or simply marvel at the amazing shifting sands.
