The Glenelg Shire Council Maternal and Child Health Service runs a new parents group for first time parents. The parent groups run for eight weeks and cover topics such as: * Getting to know your baby * Sleep settling * Nutrition - starting solids * Health and wellbeing * Safety - First Aid - CPR * Managing Chldhood Illnesses and immunization * Development and Play * Baby Massage


You will be invited to join a new parent group when you have your first home visit from a Maternal and Child Health Nurse. It is a great opportunity for families to access important information on parenting as well as meet other families in their local community.
