At Glenelg Shire Council we promote and facilitate environmental sustainability within the organisation and community.  In the Council operations we aim to enable natural resource management and manage organisational resource efficiency such as CO2 Emissions and water use.  We also manage grants for sustainability and advocate for climate change adaptation.

Sustainable Living

At its most basic, sustainable living means living a lifestyle that uses as few resources as possible and causes the least amount of environmental damage for future generations to deal with.

Public Lighting

The Public Lighting Policy and Procedure aims to provide a consistent and flexible approach to design, installation, maintenance and application of public lighting throughout the municipality.
