Gender Equity

Council has shown its commitment to achieving gender equity, unveiling its first ever organisational Gender Equity and Inclusion Plan.


The Gender Equity and Inclusion Plan, 2018–2021, was endorsed at the December Ordinary Council Meeting in 2018, providing a framework of key priorities for achieving equity and inclusion in the workplace.


The plan identifies short, medium and long term actions for council over the next three years to achieve greater equity in the workplace through policies, process, training, awareness initiatives and day-to-day business operations.
