MEDIA RELEASE - Have your say on children's services

18 June 2019

Families are reminded to have their say on child and family services delivered across the shire.

The annual Children Services Family Satisfaction Survey will close 5pm, Friday 28 June, with families encouraged to take the final opportunity to participate.

The survey covers topics such as education and care programs, maternal and child health services, parenting groups, parent involvement, customer service and communication methods.

Glenelg Shire Council children’s services manager Janine Johnstone said all feedback received would help to enhance the range of early years learning programs on offer.

“To enable us to continue to offer you, our families, the best possible service, please share your thoughts about the strengths of our programs and services, and areas where you think that improvements are needed,” she said.

“Your comments will be most beneficial for our team as we look to find ways to continue to innovate and improve our delivery of quality education and care programs across the shire.

“All questions are optional and your individual responses will be kept confidential. Following the close of the survey, a summary of the responses received will be published in our newsletter.

“We thank all families who have already completed the survey and we look forward to seeing the final responses come through in these remaining weeks.”

Families can complete the Children Services Family Satisfaction Survey online via the Your Say Glenelg website at Hard copy surveys are also available at kindergartens and education and care services.
