Kindergarten Enrolments

Thank you for enquiring about kindergarten services with the Glenelg Shire Council’s Children’s Services.

How to enrol for 2020 programs

To enrol, you will be required to complete a series of forms and supply copies of relevant documents.

Enrolment forms will be available for download after our Open Day on 24 June 2019 (you will require a printer to print the forms; our enrolments are not able to be submitted electronically unless scanned).

The following forms will be required to be completed:
• Care and Education Enrolment Form 2020 (available from 24 June 2019)
• Medical Management Plans (if applicable) – please note these must be completed by a medical practitioner
- Anaphylaxis Action Plan
- Allergy Plan
- Asthma Action Plan

You will also be required to provide copies of the following documents:
• Immunisation History Statement from Australian Immunisation Record (AIR)
• Child’s Birth Certificate (recommended)
• Any current concession cards (if applicable)
• Court Order (if applicable)
• Intervention Order (if applicable)
• Exemption from School Form (if applicable)

Please complete your Kindergarten preferences, all relevant personal details, attach the required documentation (i.e. Immunisation History Statement) and any other supporting information to the enrolment form.

Enrolments must be signed by the enrolling Parent/Guardian and returned with the required documentation. Enrolments will not be accepted if incomplete or with missing information.

Applications can be submitted by e-mail to enrolment@glenelg.vic.gov.au

Administration staff will be available at any of the below enrolment points between 9am-3pm during Enrolment Week to help with enquiries. Enrolment forms can also be accessed and submitted at these locations 24 - 28 June 2019:
- Karreeta Peeneeyt Mara Portland Child and Family Complex – 94 Julia Street Portland
- Heywood Customer Service Office – 77 Edgar Street Heywood
- Kathleen Millikan Centre – 1 Jackson Street Casterton

To be considered for a First Round Offer, complete enrolments must be returned by the close of business Friday 12 July 2019.

Enrolments can still be made after the closing date and will be allocated in Round 2 or placed on the waiting list. Allocation of Kindergarten Places
