PUBLIC NOTICE - NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL LAND

Glenelg Shire Council gives notice under Section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 that it proposes to sell the Council owned land, described below, via a public sale process:

• 55 Percy Street, Portland Lot 1 TP8822789 Vol 10702 Folio 830
• 57R Percy Street, Portland Lot 2 PS348771 Vol 10271 Folio 770

Pursuant to section 223 of the Act, any person may make a written submission on the Intention of Sale. Written submissions must be received by 2.00pm on
Monday 8 January 2017.

Submissions should be addressed as follows:

Proposed Sale of Land – Percy Street, Portland
Chief Executive Officer
Glenelg Shire Council
PO Box 152
Portland Vic 3305

Persons making submissions on the Proposal may request in writing to be heard in person, or to have a specified person appear on their behalf, before a Special Committee of Council. The day, time and place of the meeting will be advised in writing.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. Following consideration of submissions, Council may resolve to sell, or not to sell, the land.

Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that details of submissions may be included within the official Council Agendas and Minutes which are public documents and are made available on Council’s website.
