MEDIA RELEASE - Craft sessions on the road this Easter

21 February 2018

Craft lovers across the Glenelg Shire are invited to share their tips and tricks as part of an upcoming Easter themed roadshow of craft sessions.

The Glenelg Libraries are bringing back the popular Crafternoon on the Road sessions to the townships of Merino, Heywood, Portland, Casterton and Digby during 15 - 21 March.

Glenelg Shire Library and Information Services Manager Yvette Parker said following the success of the sessions held in late 2017, the Glenelg Libraries were thrilled to be bringing back Crafternoon on the Road to all corners of the shire once again in 2018.

“It is fantastic to be back on the road visiting our townships discussing all things craft this Easter,” she said.

“We had such a great response when we first launched the Crafternoon on the Road in November 2017, with many of our sessions at capacity, that we decided to bring it back once again to meet demand.

“These sessions will have a unique flair in that there will be a Easter-theme to all of our sessions, inviting craft lovers to be inspired by the holiday period.

“Places are limited for these sessions, so I encourage community members to book in early to avoid disappointment.”

Crafternoon on the Road sessions will take place on the following dates and times in the Glenelg Shire:
• Thursday 15 March
Heywood Old School
10.30am-12 noon

• Saturday 17 March

• Tuesday 20 March

• Wednesday 21 March
