MEDIA RELEASE - Rosie Project author heads to Glenelg Libraries

3 April 2019

Much loved Australian writer Graeme Simsion, author of the bestselling ‘Rosie’ series, will visit the Glenelg Libraries this April as part of the release of the third and final instalment in the ‘Rosie’ series.

Graeme will be at the Portland Library for a special Author Event on Tuesday 9 April from 5:30pm – 7:00pm to discuss his latest novel The Rosie Result.

Library and Information Services Manager Yvette Parker was thrilled to welcome back the popular contemporary author.

“We are delighted to have Graeme visit our library service once again as part of the exciting conclusion of the ‘Rosie’ series, the books have a large following locally and have been one of most borrowed fiction items by our members in recent times,” she said.

“As part of the Author Event, attendees will get to learn more about the development of final book of the popular ‘Rosie’ series, which sees Don Tillman and his wife Rosie work together to help their son Hudson work through his social anxiety as he tries to fit in at school.

“Graeme will also reflect on the success of the series and the creation of the iconic Don Tillman character, including his many humorous quirks and social tendencies.

“I encourage all fans of the ‘Rosie’ novels to come along and meet Graeme in person and help celebrate the final chapter of this iconic Australian series.”

Graeme is the author of The Rosie Project, The Rosie Effect and The Best of Adam Sharp. Last year he co-authored with his wife, Anne Buist, the novel Two Steps Forward, with film rights optioned by Ellen DeGeneres/Fox Searchlight.

He also won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript for The Rosie Project in 2012.
