ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

FREE 2-day intensive suicide prevention training in Heywood thanks to funding from United Way Glenelg.

ASIST is a two-day intensive workshop that aims to increase participants’ willingness, confidence, and capacity to provide suicide first aid.

Participants will also consider how personal and community attitudes about suicide affect someone’s openness to seek help and their own ability to provide it.

Valued at $460 per head, this training is FREE of charge thanks to United Way Glenelg.

*Participants must attend both full days to receive certification
