The brochure “War Memorial Trail” was produced as part of the 2015 National Trust Heritage Festival, and was updated in 2016 to include the Casterton Avenue of Honour.
The publication is a self driving touring route of Glenelg Shire’s War Memorials, Avenues of Honour and other sites established in acknowledgement of ex-service men and women from south-west Victoria. The Memorial Trail passes through coastal regions in the south to river regions in the west to rolling hills in the north, and through the towns, villages and settlements that were once home to these brave men and women.

 

Hardcopies of the brochure are available at the Casterton, Portland and Nelson Visitor Information Centres.
