Planning an Event

As the Event organiser, you will need to ensure that your Event meets relevant regulations, legislation, and permit approvals. You also have an important role in identifying potential risks to ensure your Event is safe for the community and attendees.

The Event Management Planning Guidelines will help guide you through the Event requirements, permits and paperwork.

You can also access the support of our Events team through "Apply for an Event". When you submit your application, our Events Team will review your event details and guide you through the required planning and coordination steps.

If you are planning to use Council-owned or managed land/property for any event you will need to 'Apply for an Event'. This may also apply to some events held on Private Land.
