There are a range of activities and services that reflect the diversity of children's interests, abilities and needs, and supports parental involvement in play, learning and care.

While the Glenelg Shire Council provides a range of activities and services, others are provided in partnership with, or solely by, state and federal governments, community organisations and private businesses.

Long Day Care

We have several facilities for Long Day Care through the Shire.

Kindergarten

Our friendly Kindergarten team will support your child in their learning and development during their early years.

Maternal and Child Health Services

A free service for all children aged from birth to 6 years, offering Key Age and Stage visits plus immunisation and additional support.

Playgroup

Playgroups provide parents and caregivers with the opportunity to meet new people, gain support and exchange parenting ideas.

Childrens Services Student Placement

Submit your application for Student Placement at one of Council’s high-quality Childrens services Centres or Kindergartens.
