Sports and Recreation

Active Your Way Glenelg Logo Sports and recreation are essential to a healthy lifestyle and community. Glenelg Shire has plenty of beautiful spaces for you to relax and play in.

The Glenelg Shire Recreation Services maintains quality sporting facilities, playgrounds, and open spaces. The Council provides opportunities for a wide range of sport, recreation, and leisure activities. We aim to promote a more active and lively community.

We can help community groups and clubs with development, planning, and promotional activities. We also assist with volunteer training opportunities and applications for the Recreation category of the Council's Community Grants Program.

Please get in touch with our Recreation Coordinator Hayden Annett on (03) 5522 2260 or send an email for more information.
