List an Event

Listing your Event on the The Glenelg Shire Events Calendar is a great way to promote your Event and it's free. 

To have your Event included on our Events listing , complete the form via the link below, and we will add it to our Calendar.      

PLEASE NOTE:   This form is to list your event only, it is NOT an Event Application Venue Booking, or Permit request. 

You will find lots of helpful Event Planning information within the Event Management Guidelines and on our Resource Pages.    If you are hosting an Event on Council Managed land, you must 'Apply for an Event' to ensure that your Event complies with relevant legislation and other requirements.   

Apply to List your Event

Step 1.Complete the List your Event Application

When you apply to have your Event included on the Glenelg Shire Council Events Listing where appropriate your event may also be included on the Visit Glenelg App and listed with Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism and Visit Victoria.  

Step 2.What you should Include

  • Event Organisers Contact details
  • Event Details, including date/time, location, cost,  and a brief description
  • A photo for your Event List (JPG or PNG file)

The Process

Step 1.Review of your Event Listing Application 

After our Event Team receives your request, we will review your application,  and assess suitability of your promotional request. We may also contact you if we require further information.

Step 2.Confirmation of Event Listing

If your application meets all the Event Listing requirements we will advise you via email, when your listing is live.
