R otary SayNo2familyviolence in partnership with Rotary and Glenelg Shire Council invite the Glenelg Community to walk against family violence as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence campaign that is rolled out across the state by Respect Victoria and Safe and Equal.
Individuals, schools, sporting clubs, service organisations and local businesses are encouraged to join raising awareness about this important issue. Meet us on the Ploughed Field opposite Portland District Health for a 10:00am start. Wear comfortable shoes and orange in support of the cause. The 1km walk will end at the Portland Library deck for free BBQ and coffee with guest speakers. Remember to bring a bottle of water, a hat and sunscreen.
In the event of wet weather, the BBQ will take place in the Drill Hall.
