Merino Digby Lions Club is ready to go with its Christmas Eve celebrations again this year. Everything is organised, even Santa Clause we hope. Santa has been notified and has never failed to show up in the past, so fingers crossed that he will appear again this year to hand out little surprises to all of the children who come.
Just like last year, Merino’s CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATIONS will begin around 6pm at the Merino Showgrounds. The Merino Fun Train will be there to take children on free joyrides. There will be sausages, hamburgers and drinks available for anyone who does not have time to cook. There will raffles and a Money Tree.
Tickets for the money tree will be made available for purchase in the days leading up to the big day, December 24th.
Naturally, everyone is invited. It doesn't matter whether you live locally, on a farm, or even in one of the other suburbs like Coleraine and Casterton. You will be made very welcome at Merino. We have ordered fine and warm weather for the occasion.
