Fire Danger Period in Glenelg Shire

The Fire Danger Period is now in force in Glenelg Shire, from Monday 20 November 2023.
During the period Council will only issue permits to burn where approval has been granted from the Country Fire Authority.

Casterton Railway Reserve

Casterton Railway Reserve is next to the Kelpie Centre and has a set of playground equipment as well as a grassed area and benches.

You can walk part of the Kelpie Trail here and if you walk a little further you will see the Railway Reserve.

You can park a car close by and the playground is away from the road.
