Call for 2022 Business and Tourism Awards Sponsors

Sponsorship is now open for Council’s prestigious awards program, the 2022 Glenelg Shire Business and Tourism Awards, which will recognise leading operators and individuals in the region.
The awards will be held in May 2022 and will recognise the Shire’s outstanding local businesses and tourism operators who strive for excellence in their field.
The awards include 14 business and tourism categories, including two individual employee categories and the overall Business of the Year award.
These categories include:
- Manufacturing, Trades or Construction
- Primary Industry
- Large Retail or Service
- Small Business
- Micro Business
- Community Enterprise
- Health & Wellbeing
- Business Innovation
- Tourism Festival, Event or Attraction
- Tourism Hospitality
- Tourism Accommodation
- Employee of the Year
- Young Achiever of the Year
- Business of the Year
Glenelg Shire Mayor Cr Anita Rank said entries for the awards would open on 28 February 2022 with judging to follow in April.
“These awards not only recognise our outstanding businesses and individuals but also encourage those in our shire to excel and exceed industry standards,” she said.
“Sponsorship of these awards is a great way to demonstrate a commitment to the local business community and its ongoing growth.
