Cape Bridgewater works progress

Stage 2 works are underway at Cape Bridgewater!  

This next stage of works will include: 

  • a connecting boardwalk and footpaths;
  • landscaping;
  • seats and picnic tables;
  • barbecue facility and shelter;
  • further all abilities access.
  • upgrades to carparking and drainage; 

Starting from today, our contractors will be working on the next stage of the boardwalk works for approximately 2-3 weeks. 

During this time: 

  • Access to the beach via the stairs near the Café is expected to be blocked off. 
  • Parking on the beach side of the bottom car park (between the café and Surf Life Saving Club) is also expected to be impacted.  

Where possible we will minimise the impact to these areas but do ask that people avoid the works.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes. 

These works are not expected to impact access to the Café, toilet facilities, the Surf Life Saving Club or the beach via other access points.
