Cape Bridgewater works update

Following earlier difficulties in sourcing contractors, Stage Two works have now been successfully tendered and we are pleased to confirm local contractors GR Carr will be completing this next key stage of the Cape Bridgewater Foreshore works.

Works are now scheduled to commence in early 2023, to ensure Cape Bridgewater remains open and inviting throughout the peak summer period free of construction works.

Stage Two works will include:

• upgrades to carparking
• a connecting boardwalk and footpaths. This will create a connecting pathway to all designated car parking areas
• further landscaping
• seats
• picnic tables
• barbecue facilities
• and solar lighting
