This is the week is Library and Information Week!

The week is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the work that library and information workers do across the Glenelg Shire and all around Australia. It is also a chance to learn more about what they do and the important roles they play in our local community, work and personal lives.

To celebrate, the Glenelg Libraries are hosting activities for both adults and children this week in Heywood, Casterton and Portland. ⁠

Activities for Adults

f you want to learn how to make the sustainable bees wax wraps then book yourself in for the demonstration and hands on session.  You will get to make a bees wax wrap to take home.

Puppet Palooza sessions for children

As part of the session children will make Hand Print Puppets, Egg Carton animals and more, re-using craft supplies and repurposing everyday objects.
