The State Government has announced some further easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

The requirement for staff and patrons to check in to venues/businesses using the Services Victoria app has ended.
This also includes removal of the requirement for checking vaccination status in venues.

These changes will impact Council community venues, including the:
  • Glenelg Libraries
  • Portland Arts Centre
  • Fawthrop Centre
  • and local pools.

This means you will no longer have to provide evidence of your vaccination certificate, or QR check in, to borrow a book, go to the gym or enjoy a performance at the Portland Arts Centre.

These changes are in effect from 11:59pm, Friday 21 April 2022.
