Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from community members to join the Project Reference Group (PRG) for the Portland Foreshore Multipurpose Facility refurbishment.
This advisory group will help guide the revitalisation of the Angling Club and Yacht Club buildings, ensuring the project reflects community needs and aspirations. We’re seeking three community members who are passionate about Portland’s foreshore and want to contribute to shaping its future.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Reside within Glenelg Shire;
Be independent of Council staff, Councillors and the two clubs already represented (Portland Yacht Club and Portland Sport and Game Fishing Club);
Be available for monthly meetings (in-person or via Microsoft Teams);
Have no conflicts of interest.
Applicants should provide a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and eligibility requirements as part of their expression of interest.
