We’re pleased to share that Council has completed resheeting works across nine rural roads, improving over 21 kilometres of key local routes as part of the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery (RTR) program.
The roads resheeted include:
- Kantara Lane, Carapook
- Dysons Road, Tyrendarra
- Ellis Road, Myamyn
- Haydens Road, Wando Vale
- Crowes Hill Road, Tyrendarra
- Eagles Road, Paschendale
- Deaners Road, Mumbannar
- Doelles Road, Tyrendarra
- Felton Road, Carapook
These works help improve road surfaces, reduce potholes and keep our rural communities connected. Thanks to everyone for their patience during the works.
Council also undertakes ongoing road maintenance activities to ensure local roads are kept in the best condition for community access.

The breakdown of the road network includes:
- Rural Sealed Roads: 971 km
- Rural Unsealed (Gravel) Roads: 1,408 km
- Urban Sealed Roads: 154 km
- Urban Unsealed Roads: 44 km
