More images have been released of how the proposed Portland Foreshore Community Pavilion would look.

Nine extra images are now on the Your Say Glenelg website, and they show the views from the vicinity of the Bahloo Café, Gordon Hotel, Bentinck St toilet block, the blue umbrella on the Bentinck St lawns, Clock by the Bay, the former Groke restaurant, the Julia/Bentinck St intersections, the Lee Breakwater Rd entrance and the Thistle Bar and Grill.

Alongside the images of the building are the same views with the existing buildings for comparison. More images will be uploaded in coming days.

Answers to some frequently asked questions are also on the website.

As previously announced, Glenelg Shire Council will also be holding in-person discussions with stakeholders including Bentinck St retailers on 8 and 9 November.

There will also be community drop-in information sessions in the main meeting room at the Portland Library.

These sessions will run from noon to 1pm on 10, 13 and 15 November and anyone interested in finding out more about the project is welcome to come along.

A poll will run on the Your Say Glenelg website from Friday, 3 November until Thursday, 23 November.

Council is continuing consultation and discussions with stakeholders such as the Portland Yacht Club, Portland Sport Fishing Club, Traditional Owners and Portland Cable Trams.

All feedback will be collected before a decision is made whether to go out to tender later in November.
