Upcoming works - traffic lights at Cape Nelson Road/Must St

This is a notification for upcoming works on the traffic lights at the Cape Nelson Road – Must St intersection. The works are for the installation of Audio Tactile Pedestrian Detectors.
Audio Tactile Pedestrian Detectors use sound and vibration to provide pedestrians with information for when it is safe to use the signalised pedestrian crossings at the lights. This allows the crossings to be safely used by more members of the community.
The Audio Tactile Pedestrian Detectors will be silenced between the hours of 9pm and 6am.
Installation will take place on the 21st of August.
There will be traffic control placed throughout the intersection for the duration of the installation so expect small delays or find an alternative route.
