Week 2 winner announced - Eat, Shop, Play Local Competition

We received a whopping 250 entries from across the Shire for week two of our Eat, Shop, Play Local competition - thank you to all those who entered!

This week’s lucky winner is Wendy Trotter from Rupanyup (in the state's Wimmera region), who was in Portland taking a Seaside break on the weekend. Wendy said her $500 win means she will return to our Shire for another get away to enjoy our beautiful region. 

The fabulous team at Pauline's ABsolutely FABulous Fashion promoted and helped Wendy to enter the competition and were thrilled that the winner shopped in store with them. 

The ‘Eat, Shop, Play Local’ competition continues until Friday 14th October 2022, so there is still plenty of time to enter and win!

How to enter

• Shoppers need to spend $20 or more at a local business and email their receipt using the QR code , which will be displayed at the register at local businesses.

• Alternatively, entrants can submit their receipts, with contact details written on the back, to any Glenelg Shire Customer Service Centre.
