Personal Profile
A lifelong Portland local of 39 years Michael grew up on the family farm. He completed his education at local schools. He is married to Carly and the proud father to three young boys, Marius (11), Maximus (9) and Monty (5).
Michael has a strong understanding of the local industry. He is currently the infrastructure manager at the Port of Portland and was employed at Portland Aluminium for over ten years in leadership roles.
Councillor from 2020 till present, audit and risk committee member 2020 -2024 & Rail Freight Alliance deputy chair in 2024
Michael enjoys family camping adventures, football, tennis, water-skiing, basketball, and volunteering within the community.
