 Saturday 7 December: 3:00pm to 9:00pm

Southern 500 music festival features a lineup of youth bands and DJs from across the shire and Macedon Ranges, with headlining performances by Adelaide's all-girl indie punk rock band, Teenage Joans. The day will also have a range of other activities including:

  •  3x3 basketball tournaments
  •  A mechanical bull for the adventurous
  • Giant inflatable slide to bring out your inner child.
  • A decoration station for festival body art
  • Merch tents
  • Food and drink stalls

 

Need a ride? No problem, our bus run has got you covered!

When booking your ticket, you will have the option to select from the following return bus stops:

  • Portland South Hall – Portland IGA Carpark – Portland Shell Servo – Heathmere
  • Hamilton - Branxholme - Condah - Heathmere
  • Casterton - Merino - Heywood – Heathmere

 

Accessibility and Inclusion

The venue is designed to be fully accessible for all abilities to come along and enjoy.

  • Disabled parking with easy entrance access will be available on the day, please contact youthservices@glenelg.vic.gov.au to ensure we understand demand and accommodate to all needs.
  • A chill out zone will be provided for those wanting to take a time out.
  • Disposable earplugs will be handed out prior to entrance.

Carers or Companion

We understand fulltime care is in some cases necessary and allow 1 complimentary ticket for ticket purchasers who require a carer. Please contact the Portland Arts Centre Box Office on 0355 222 263, via email arts@glenelg.vic.gov.au or visit 4A Glenelg street Monday-Friday 10am-4pm with proof of carer or companion card to arrange this.
