Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarships

Glenelg Shire Council offers two, $3000 scholarships annually for local Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander youth aged 16-24 years to undertake study at School, University or TAFE.

The two scholarships are for the value of $3000 each and the funds can be used to assist with the following;

Course fees
Course requirements such as school books, stationary and equipment.
Compulsory clothing/footwear
Travel expenses
Tutoring

The successful applicants must reside in the Glenelg Shire however can be undertaking study at an institute outside of the Shire i.e. Deakin University, South West TAFE, Monivae College etc..
