FGSWW Group Walk - Mount Richmond National Park

Come and join the Friends of the Great South West Walk as we meet for a picnic and a choice of short walks in Mount Richmond National Park. The picnic area, near the summit, features a number of shaded picnic tables and some basic amenities.

Four short walks leave from the picnic area, all signposted. The West Walk is 3.7km, Benwerrin Nature Walk is 1.7km, Noels Walk is 3.3km and the Ocean View Walk, which leads to a lookout from where there is a spectacular view of the coastline, is 2.2km.

Koalas are in abundance around the picnic area, very popular with visitors.

We will meet at the carpark of the Portland Visitor Information Centre at 3pm. Carpooling will be available.

New walkers are welcome. All participants must register by Thursday 7th December.
