Community satisfaction survey due to open
Published on 27 January 2022
Glenelg Shire residents are invited to share their views on council’s performance as part of an upcoming community satisfaction survey.
The survey has been commissioned by the Victorian Government on behalf of all Victorian councils. It is designed to assess the performance of the Glenelg Shire and identify ways to provide improvement or more effective service delivery to residents.
Mayor Cr Anita Rank encouraged selected households to take part in the survey.
“From the 31st January, your household may receive a call from an independent market research agency, National Field Services, who has been commissioned to undertake the survey,” Cr Rank said.
“The agency will ask you to provide your feedback on a range of council services, such as community consultation, roads, waste, customer service and overall council performance.
“The annual community satisfaction survey is an important check-in for Council, allowing us to understand how the community think we are performing. The data we receive at the end of the survey shapes our forward planning, highlighting which areas need improvement.
“I therefore encourage anyone who receives a survey call to share their valuable feedback – your honest responses will only help improve your local Council and the services we provide.”
Cr Rank assured residents that all responses would remain confidential.
“Council will only receive the overall results from the survey company, any personal details and individual responses will remain confidential,” she said.
“If you have any questions during the survey period, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service team.”
