Amendment C115gelg - Dartmoor and Nelson Flood Study Implementation

The amendment proposes to implement the findings of the Dartmoor and Nelson Flood Study, 2024 by inserting additional flood risk mapping into the Glenelg Planning Scheme by applying Schedule 1 to the Floodway Overlay (FO1) and Schedule 1 to the Land Subject to Inundation Overlay (LSIO1) to mapped areas along the Glenelg River and surrounding land from north of Dartmoor to the river mouth south of Nelson.

The affected land also includes land already within the Urban Floodway Zone, Floodway Overlay, and the Land Subject to Inundation Overlay by proposing changes to the existing schedules to the Floodway Overlay (FO1), Land Subject to Inundation Overlay (LSIO1), and the Glenelg Shire Local Floodplain Development Plan.
