Welcome to the Glenelg Shire Council

Draft Revenue and Rating Plan

Council must prepare and adopt a Revenue and Rating Plan for a period of at least 4 financial years.

Council provides a number of services and facilities to our local community, and in doing so, must collect revenue to cover the cost of providing these services and facilities.

Rates are the most significant revenue source for Council and account for 50.74% of its annual income.

The Draft Revenue and Rating Plan explains how Council calculates the revenue needed to fund its activities, and how the funding burden will be apportioned between ratepayers and other users of Council facilities and services.

Have Your Say on the Draft Plan

Council has a dedicated website that provides an opportunity for quick and efficient online feedback. Visit YourSay Glenelg website. for information about the project and online ways to provide your comments.
