Cape Bridgewater Stage 2 - progress update

Stage 2 works are well underway at Cape Bridgewater!

This next stage of works will include:

• a connecting boardwalk and footpaths;
• landscaping;
• seats and picnic tables;
• barbecue facility and shelter;
• further all abilities access;
• upgrades to carparking and drainage.

Works are proceeding well with concreting of the foundations for the new boardwalk complete, and new stormwater drainage installed in the middle car park.

Concreting works are currently underway near the kiosk.

Within the next couple of days the Contractors will need to upgrade the stormwater drainage from the existing toilets block out to the revetment.

To do this they will need to block motor vehicle access from the toilet block towards the Surf Life Saving Club for 2 – 3 days.

You will still be able to walk to those locations beyond the drainage works.
