Welcome to the Glenelg Shire Council

National Volunteer Week 2021

National Volunteer Week

Volunteers play an integral role in our shire, lending their time and talents, for no reward or remuneration, to support, encourage and enhance the lives of others in the community.

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.

To pay tribute to all volunteers who help make our community stronger, the Glenelg Shire hosts four Volunteer Recognition Receptions throughout the Glenelg Shire during National Volunteer Week.
