Fire Danger Period in Glenelg Shire

The Fire Danger Period is now in force in Glenelg Shire, from Monday 20 November 2023.
During the period Council will only issue permits to burn where approval has been granted from the Country Fire Authority.

Stormwater Network

Stormwater is water that originates from rainfall or a hail storm. Stormwater generally flows from property drains to council-operated street gutters, which will in turn link together to create a stormwater network.

Council is the responsible authority for the stormwater network. For information regarding plans and details of the stormwater pipes, please contact Council on 1300 453 635

Council does not store any details on private drainage inside property boundaries, and may not be able to assist customers on every occasion.
