Cr Robyn McDonald joins Council in a short term extraordinary vacancy following the resignation of Cr Chrissy Hawker.

A fourth generation local Cr McDonald was born and raised in Portland. She has had 17 years of teaching Art/Design in Portland, followed by 20 years in Melbourne teaching at Secondary and University foundation level, and also lecturing in Interior Design at Torrens University. Her hobbies include art, design, renovating, travel and swimming.

Cr McDonald is the Venue Co-ordinator for the Julia Street Creative Space, Secretary of the Portland Woodturner's Guild, a member of the Portland Bay Press, a member of the Portland Artists Society and a member of  Professional Women in Business.
