Get ready, a fun-filled event for the whole family is rolling into Casterton and Portland these school holidays.
The Glenelg Shire Council is pleased to announce the launch of the Glow Roller Disco, a high-energy, inclusive event lighting up the Casterton Town Hall and Portland Civic Hall this September.
Facilitated by roller disco enthusiast Briana Bryon, this free event features glowing roller skates, upbeat music and non-stop fun on wheels for kids, tweens, teens and families alike.
Sessions are held across 22 and 23 September, with timeslots available for all ages or under 12s.
Glenelg Shire Mayor Cr Karen Stephens said there was no need to venture outside the Shire these school holidays with free, unique programming on offer close to home.
“The Glow Roller Disco is proudly delivered through a collaborative effort between Glenelg Shire Council and Hands-Up Casterton. This partnership ensures the program is accessible, engaging and tailored for all ages, as well as providing quality entertainment for local families,” she explained.
“So grab your friends, put on your sharpest outfit and get ready to roll! With glowing wheels, upbeat tunes and a welcoming atmosphere, the Glow Roller Disco is an unforgettable school holiday experience.”
