Jaycee Kindergarten

Jaycee Kindergarten has been providing high quality kindergarten programs to the children and their families within the Portland community since 1966.

 

Kindergarten programs for children aged 3 and 4 years prior to attending primary school are delivered by passionate and experienced teachers and educators following the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework with a focus on “Learning through Play”.

 

Children and their families are seen as activate participants and decision makers within the program which builds a sense of belonging, promotes social skills, confidence, learning and development and school readiness.

Our aim is to build respectful, strong relationships and partnerships with each family and encourages families to participation within the service.

Jaycee Kindergarten is owned and operated by the Glenelg Shire Council.

2024 Programs  Time
Seal Group - 3 Year Old Kindergarten  Tuesday and Thursday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm 
Dolphin Group - 4 Year Old Kindergarten  Rotational model on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm (2 days per child)
