Club Committee Kit

Cover of the kit

The club kit has been designed to provide an easy to use reference tool for busy volunteer sports club administrators. The guide is published in both electronic and hard copy format and will updated as required.

Induction Kit

Induction is crucial to for the effective and streamlined function of a Committee.

Included in this Guide(DOCX, 77KB) is a full Club Committee Induction Kit which is designed for your Committee to enter the relevant information and hand out to new Committee Members. Generally, there will be a number of people involved in the induction process, however the overall responsibility of ensuring new committee member inductions are fully completed and signed off is that of the Secretary.

Induction Checklist

Another key document included in the Induction Kit is an Induction Checklist(PDF, 164KB). Completion of this document by the Secretary will ensure that new committee members feel supported, are given up to date and relevant information that is necessary to perform their role.

Handover Checklist

Handovers are just as important as inductions as they ensure a smooth transition to a new committee. This means that the club can focus on setting the goals and objectives for the year rather than looking for keys or rewriting policies.
The outgoing Committee should complete the Handover Information Checklist(PDF, 90KB)  to ensure that all of the required information is updated and available for handover. Again, it is important for Committees to organize and maintain their records throughout the year so that this process is quick and straightforward.
