Below you will find links for various forms and applications you may need to submit to finalise your Event Approval.  

Once you Apply for an Event, you will be advised which Permits, applications or other documents will be required to complete your application.

Event Permit Application (Medium to Large Events)

If you are hosting a medium to large or high-risk event on Council Managed/Owned Land you will need to apply for an Events Permit (Schedule 14).

 

To apply, complete a Event Permit Application (Schedule 14)

Special Event Permit Application (Small to Medium Events)

If you are hosting Small to Medium sized event on Council Managed/Owned Land you will need to apply for a Special Events Permit (Schedule 15).

 

To apply, complete a Special Event Permit Application (Schedule 15).

Place of Public Entertainment (POPE) - Occupancy or Siting Permit

If your event is defined as a ‘Place of Public Entertainment’ (POPE), an Occupancy or Siting Permit will be required.

Signboards and Banners (Events)

Promotional Signage for upcoming events can be displayed at various locations throughout the Glenelg Shire.

 

To apply, complete a Signboard and/or Banner Application.

Temporary Road Closure Permit

You may need to submit a request for Temporary Road Closure if coordinating a filming or a major event.

 

To apply complete a Traffic Management and Temporary Road Closure Application

Busking or Collections Permit

All buskers, performers, pavement artists, and collectors (charities/fundraisers), on Council Owned or Managed land need to have a permit.

 

To apply, complete a Busking or Collections Permit Application (Schedule 13)

Waste Trailer (Events)

Glenelg Shire provides the Waste Wise Events trailer for community events held within the Shire.

 

To apply complete a Event Waste Trailer Application form.

List your event on our online Glenelg Shire Events Calendar, it's free and a great way to promote your event within the Community and to visitors.
