Dartmoor Children’s Centre is located in a rural setting with large spacious outdoor learning environments.
Experienced teachers and educators deliver a program following the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework with the belief that children “Learning through Play”.
The educational program focuses on children’s interests, confidence, communication, social skills and encourages children to explore, research, make decisions, imagine, initiate ideas, persist, attempt, try again, solve problems and take risks.
We aim to foster and develop positive relationships with families and encourage families to participate at the service.
Dartmoor Children’s Centre has well developed links with the local primary school and this assists children to successfully transition to school.
Dartmoor Children’s Centre is owned and operated by the Glenelg Shire Council.
